dennis stahl was born in new york city, spent his childhood on long island and moved to gilbertsville, new york during the 1970's. before coming to upstate new york, he met sculptor alfred van loen, who greatly influenced him during his formative years as an artist. mr. stahl has since developed his own unique style, not only as
a sculptor and a painter, but for his collage and photography as well.

is where mr. stahl works part of the year along with other artists who have discovered this climatically correct paradise. classes will soon be offered in this location as well.
studio dionysus is located in gilbertsville, new york, and houses a permanent collection of Dennis Stahl's artwork. the studio also hosts community events that feature other artists who live locally and some that show globally.
